Saying Goodbye

From The Alien Orthodox (Ryan)

Sad to say goodbye

This afternoon I said goodbye to an old friend of mine for the last time.
She was in an accident this weekend and was unable to pull through.
We talked of the goodtimes we had together, going to cedar point, afternoon drives in the summer, and the many concerts we attended together.
She was not the flashiest girl around or the best looking, but she gave me all I could ask for.
She escorted me on my first date, the drive-in I believe, 4 years ago.
So as I sat on her deathbed, touching her knobs and feeling her soft interior for the last time, we said our goodbyes. Through the tears a pang of guilt ran through me.
Little did she know I was planning on selling her body parts soon as she passed on...
Goodbye my "91" Buick Skylark.
